台风火锅 TaiFeng Hot Pot @ Cheras

I had a chance to do a photo shoot for 台风火锅 food menu a while ago. Conceptually named Typhoon, the restaurant “台风” originated from the word “Taiwan” and “Typhoon” which represents the influential and shocking hurricane from East Asia. “台风” mainly serves steamboat using authentic soup recipe from Taiwan.

In addition, “台风” also uses a blend of unique “seasoning” sauces to delight the palate of discerning customers. “台风” has six kinds of exclusive soup base. Their main traditional soup is callled ‘Sauerkraut Pot’. Sauerkraut pot is also currently one of Taiwan’s most popular steamboat soup base and is originated from northeastern China. The main ingredients for the soup are sour cabbage and pork. The taste has the unique flavor that is both filling but yet not greasy.
