Johor, or otherwise known as “The Southern Gateway to Malaysia” is one of the most developed state in Malaysia. From 21st May to 3rd June 2013, Seri Pacific Hotel will be featuring authentic Johorean cuisine via buffet lunch and dinner priced at RM 68 nett and RM 78 nett respectively at Zenda Restaurant. Mr. Milton (Assistant Food & Beverage Manager) from Seri Pacific was giving an opening speech during the press conference.
To ensure that all their food serving are authentic, Seri Pacific Hotel has invited celebrity chef, Chef Abd Razak to oversee the preparation of all its Johorean dishes.
Special thanks to Johor Tourism, Klang Valley folks will now be able to enjoy the gastronomical delights from the southern region such as Mee Rebus Tulang, Nasi Ambeng, Nasi Briyani Kambing Beyh, Otak-Otak, Mee Bandung, Lemak Lodeh. Md Za’nal Masran (Pengarah Pelancongan Negeri Johor) was addressing the media about the numerous Johorean cuisine offered at Seri Pacific Hotel.
Diners can also opt for one of the favourite items, Laksa Johor – flaked fish cooked in fresh coconut milk infused with spices and served with cucumber and onion slices, bean sprouts, lime, mint leaves and daun kesum. While enjoying a sumptuous meal, diners will be treated to famous Johorean cultural performances as well.
During the Johor Food & Cultural Fest, Seri Pacific Hotel will also be featuring a special beverage known as Beyh Royale. Beyh Royale is a time honoured beverage served as welcome drink at the court of Johore Royalty during the reign of Sultan Sir Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Sri Abu Bakar (1895 – 1959).
Beyh Royale beverage is brewed from rich aromatics spices such as cinnamon and cardamon, cloves, star anises, citrusy kaffir lime and tropical pandan leaves.
